No one will answer these questions for you! However the Awareness Workshop was designed with these two fundamental questions in mind. Yes, alcoholism is a DENIAL DISEASE and we must be FEARLESS and thoroughly HONEST with ourselves from the very start. To help you progress toward this goal, we will provide you with a pen and a personal notepad, so that you could, if you wished to do so, reflect on your own personal life as you listen to some of the ‘too many’ ways by which this fatal DISEASE afflicted all of us.
We will outline, one by one, all the things that a typical alcoholic did when trying to CONTROL or QUIT his/her drinking.
We will mention most of the PHYSICAL, MENTAL and SPIRITUAL woes that afflict a practicing alcoholic.
We will list many of the consequences directly related to alcohol that were rendering our lives unmanageable; such as FAMILY, WORK, LAW, HEALTH, PEOPLE, PLACES and THINGS.
